Bible Question:
Matt 5:27-28 Mark 10:10-12 In these verses it specifically addresses the mans right to divorce a woman under the grounds of adultery, but it does not specifically say a woman can divorce her husband. Is a woman biblically allowed the right to divorce a man under these grounds (porn as adultery) or does she have to seperate and wait for her husband to divorce her? |
Bible Answer: Bandaid, If you look at verse 28 in Mathew ch. 5 you will see that it says that "if a man looketh on a woman to lust after her he has already committed adultery with her in his heart. Now when we look at the covenant relationship that we have with God the man may be the head of the house but that does not mean that you and your feelings are insignificant. God does not want you to be trapped in a situation that is stealing your joy. Sometimes it is better to take yourself out of a situation in order to keep from losing your sanity. Now that I understand That you have tried for years, it is better for you to get out of the way and pray that God has mercy on him. Right now it is best for you to think of your own wellbeing. God bless. Gileum |
