Bible Question:
Matt 5:27-28 Mark 10:10-12 In these verses it specifically addresses the mans right to divorce a woman under the grounds of adultery, but it does not specifically say a woman can divorce her husband. Is a woman biblically allowed the right to divorce a man under these grounds (porn as adultery) or does she have to seperate and wait for her husband to divorce her? |
Bible Answer: Bandaid: No one can tell you what to do, and with such little information about specfically how long this has gone on, only the people involved know what is best. Jesus also said to look at a woman with lust in your heart is adultery. All sins begin in our minds or some would say the heart. Jesus also said that hardness of the heart is the cause of divorce. Either party in a marriage can seek a divorce when immorality is present. Divorce is not a requirement, it is an option, one which should be prayed over and there just is no other way. An excllent Christian film out is FIREPROOF, which is still in shows and available on DVD latter this month. I would encourage you to see it. There are many Christians who thought circumstances were beyond any hope for their marriage, and God completely healed the marriage when humanly ther was no hope. I encourage your to get help from your pastor, or a Christian Counselor. Never forget that God loves you and is always there with us. justme |
