I take it that while Joseph was gone out of the room, his brothers made the choice for Simeon to stay, and Joseph accepted that choice." ..... Now it's my turn to ask you a question. Many, myself included, consider the ancient Joseph saga one of the most moving narratives in all the Bible, and even in all the world's literature.
