Bible Question: An 'Easter' egg represents man's tradition, and an egg represents new life...but our Lords Resurrection is not to be compared with man's tradition as there is no relevancy making the mix unholy be implying a relationship. as an analogy we should use a worm...dormang...brought to life as a butterfly...what a great representation of the Resurrection...the egg only has one aspect life, not renewed life. the easter egg product is presenting God's Word with a symbol of man's tradition in with symbols of His Resurrection...what a poor way to present God's most beautiful act of unconditional love and self-sacrifice. We have a responsibility to our children and to God to present His Word unblemished. Our God's Truth is beautiful and if we add something that detracts from its meaning we are held accountable. Are we being responsible with how we represent God's Truth? |
Bible Answer: jfitness, Greetings and welcome to the forum.Matthew 6:33 tells us to seek first the kingdom of God. It's not so much the tradition ie. easter eggs on Easter that are wrong,it's when we love these things more than we do God and our walk with him. It's when we places things ahead of God that we get into trouble. May I sugest 2 Timothy 2:15 and Romans 14. PS- It's gotta start with us. In Him, lionheart. |
