Bible Question: i would like to know what women in the bible wrote songs, besides Miriam. |
Bible Answer: Dear aceve, The answer is no women including Miriam are said to have composed songs, only the men. Exodus 15:21 Mirian answered to them, sing to the Lord, for He is highly exalted; the horse and his rider He has hurled into the sea. Miriam did not write any song, Miriam was a prophetess and she was telling the women to sing the song of Moses most likely. The text said that she told them to sing a song, she is telling the women to sing, not composing a song. God's day to you, Tamara God's day to you, Tamara |
