Bible Question: naaman was cleansed as soon as he believed and before he dipped in the jordan river? |
Bible Answer: Cmoore Hi and welcome to the forum. If you read the story of Naaman in 2 Kings 5 you will see two things that convinces me Naaman didn't believe until after he was cleansed. The first he was furious that he had to do such a thing a dip in the the Jordan and had to be talked into it. Secondly it wasn';t until after he was cleansed that he offered an reward to Elisha. To me if he had believed prior to his healing he would have willingly went to the river and would have immediately offered the prophet a reward. EdB |
