Bible Question: What does Luke 19:27 mean? Is it a literal command to slay our enemies before the Lord or does it have a metaphorical meaning? |
Bible Answer: I believe it was after the others had been judged that the slaying occured. PSALM 149:6-9 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand: To execute vengeance against the nations, [and] punishment among the peoples; To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; To execute upon them the judgment written. This honour have all his saints. Hallelujah! |
