Bible Question: I was wondering why God found Job right in the things he said and his friends wrong in the things they said to where Job had to pray for them and also they had to sacrifice at the end?(I'm not judging Job or anything I'm just trying to understand this book.) |
Bible Answer: The main point of the Book of Job is God's message to all of mankind about how He wants us to look at the tragedies and all the pain and suffering of this world. In a nutshell, God gave us an Absolute Perfect world and all of us messed it up and we've done it now at least twice with the advent of the worldwide flood. God wants us to grow up and see that we're just sojourners in this physical world and to learn to prefer His World of the Spiritual in His Home in Heaven. BUT we MUST wait until He calls us to that Home. Until that time, we must live here on earth, dying to sin, living for Christ and realize the gain when we die. That's part of the refining process Peter refers to in his epistle. Naturally, that also means we are here to shine God's Love, His Word and His Will through our lives to others in this world. Hope this helps. God bless. Rowdy |
