Bible Question: In Job 13:1-3 Job laments over the difference of what he believes about GOD and what he see's of GOD(his current plight). I have lamented and questioned this also at times. I believe that GOD has given answers in the scriptures and in prayer. Many people can't see the answer between the perception of GOD and the reality of GOD. Any thoughts on this? |
Bible Answer: While one would normally expect leaders to be powerful and elders to be wise, God sometimes reverses that; for Job's advisers, older than he, were not as wise. Job had seen and hard what they were saying about God; and he was not inferior to them. But they were not the ones he wanted to debate. He wanted to argue his case with God. Why should he waste his time arguing with people that were smearing the facts with lies, about his being a sinner. |
