Bible Question: Why did God use ravens to bring Elijah food, when ravens are "unclean" animals? 1 Kings 17:6 |
Bible Answer: Why did he send him to the widow Zarephath? Were not the Samarians considered unclean by the Jews? Yet she was a blessing to Elijah as he was to her.God uses things that we don't expect him to use to carry out his purpose. He created the ravens and they listened to their creator when he commanded them to feed his prophet. Elijah didn't eat the ravens, only the bread and flesh that they brought to him did he eat. |
