why did saul hate david |
Bible Answer: Shalom. Saul was rejected by the Lord from reigning over Israel because of his rebellion. (see 1 Sam.15:22-23)Then as David lead Israel, he became more popular than Saul. Look at 1 Sam.18:12.Through Saul's reign, he kept disobeying the Lord. David obeyed, which lead to being popular, which lead to Saul's jealousy. This is only a small answer, search in the book of 1 Sam. for more. God bless, michael |
