Bible Question: Why was the Exodus important to the Hebrew people? |
Bible Answer: This is a story of redemption and creation, not just of Hebrews as a nation, but of God's people as the church. God's almighty power redeemed Israel from the fetters of slavery, and they were taught His law and His tabernacle was built. Moses was writing of man's reconciliation with God through Jesus as a mediatior (see John 5:46), and coming into a communion and a covenant with Him. |
