Subject: why is cain not in adams generation |
Bible Note: The main premise of your point is based on the fact that Cain is not mentioned in the genealogy of Jesus. That only means Cain was not in the lineage. Jacob had many sons but only one is mentioned. David had many sons and only Solomon and Nathan are mentioned in the lineage of Jesus. Does this make all the rest of Jacobs or David’s sons Kenites as you called Cain's descendants? NO! Also you refuse to reconcile your theory to the fact that all of mankind except Noah and his family was killed in the flood which again would eliminate any lineage of Cain.. The various verses you quote are mere hyperboles used by the various speakers/writers to explain sins spread. Sin isn't spread by a genealogy of people but by the tainted nature man inherited from the sin in the garden. If there were only one man on earth and Satan was locked away, sin would still prevail because each of us have a penchant for lust of the flesh, lust of the eye and pride of life 1 John 2:16 |
