Bible Question:
Hi, In Genesis 3 it talks about the serpant, or the snake in the tree of knowledge and evil. Now my questions to ponder over is that: Why did God put those there? (just to simply test the women or man) Why did God say that they would be killed if they ate from the tree and they really weren't killed? Those are kind of a few basic questions I want to discuss with someone who answers. Thank you. |
Bible Answer: Hello NightJay, In Genesis 3:33 "but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, ‘You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.’” At first Adam was created by God and he was without sin and i may say that he is an imortal man and so with Eve, but when they ate the fruit that gives knowledge of good and evil and disobey God, there they sinned and that sin causes them to be mortal and will die. |
