Bible Question: where can I find information about Noah and interesting facts about how the world was back then and how God was able to speak to the people.I often get confused and alot of things in Genesis do not make sense to me.I want to understand it better. Can anyone help me? |
Bible Answer: Please consider asking your Pastor, or other Christian leader, about participating in a Bible study at your local church. If this is not possible. There are numerous Bible studies that you can purchase that will help you to dig into the Word of God. Ask someone at your local Christian bookstore to recommend a good Bible study workbook that will help you to study the book of Genesis, on your own. Or, if you don't have a Christian bookstore in your town, check out these sites for good Bible studies: Navpress.com, backtothebible.org, or rbc.org (many of their Bible studies are free), to mention a few. May I recommend two excellent Bible studies which focus on the patriarchs of the faith, mentioned in Genesis. One workbook is entitled, Following God: Life Principles from the Old Testament. The workbook is authored by Wayne Barber. If you can't find it at your local Christian bookstore, you may want to consider ordering it online at www.ChristianBooks.com. Another excellent Bible study workbook is entitled, Created to be God's Friend. It is written by Henry T. Blackaby. This workbook focuses on Abraham and helps you to understand how God works in the lives of His people. Both workbooks may help to get you started in learning how to study and apply God's word to your life. Hope this helps... God bless you. |
