Bible Question:
Gen 1:1-19. This has to do with the literal 24 hour creation days in Genesis. A number of things were created and three times God said, and there was evening and there was morning a first day , a second day , a third day. But God didn't create the Sun , Moon and Stars until verse 16. So if there were no Sun for planet earth to revolve around then there was no 24 hour day until the creation on day 4 ( Gen 1:19). P.S. God is free to do it any way He wants , I just wondered if there were any ideas on this. Thanks |
Bible Answer: Greetings, Let me ask this, what was the first thing created? Answer: Time The Sun, moons, stars later became a means by which we could calculate time. Time was already in existence. When you look at it from that perspective, everything makes sense. God didn't need the sun, moon, and stars to calculate time, because he is beyond and before time. He created the means to calculate time for us in the days before Man was created. Jalek |
