AMPLIFIED 2015 | 2 Samuel 6:6 ¶ When they came to Nacon's threshing floor, Uzzah reached out [with his hand] to the ark of God and took hold of it, because the oxen [stumbled and] nearly overturned it. |
Bible Question: Why would God kill Uzzah when he tried to stop the Ark from tipping over? |
Bible Answer: God didnt kill Uzzah.he did himself. read Exedus25:10 to 22. It talks where God speaks from, that is between the cherubims above the mercy seat.just like Jesus. Then turn to chapter 28 and this is what they had to wear ,the priests,it was taught to all for an everlasting statute.verse 43.also explains that they had to wear all this gear so iniquity would not be incured and die.Uzzah knew all this from a child as all israelites were taught, but he just went ahead and tried to give God a hand causing him to incur his iniquity, i hope this helps.YIC |
