Bible Question (short): 2 Sam 23:4 Does mentoring apply? |
Question (full): 2 Samuel 23:4 Forgive me if I missed the question on my search. I'm coordinating the Mother's Day Event for my church (although we will not be calling it that this year because sounds too secular, according to the women's council). They want to talk about women and mentoring. I know about the Titus women and the instruction there, and I want to present this message: #1 the responsibility of Christians to come under instruction #2 the responsibility of the mentors to do this in a loving and nonjudgemental way #3 the blessings So I came across the last words of David (I know that the scripture does not speak to women per say but it spoke to me!) My bible explains this verse as "The benefits of righteous rule are enlighment, fruitfulness, and refreshment". Thank you so much for your feedback. Also, please praise with me our AWESOME GOD for saving my sister and adopting her into His family. I have prayed for over 10 years. Never give up praying, no matter how discourage you become at times. God Bless. |
