Bible Question (short): David's sin |
Question (full): As I reread the chapter, I realized that Nathan's story to denounce David of his sinful act did not concern adultery, but is more on the sin that David made use of his authority to satisfy his sinful desire, and this (within the context) found loathsome to God. His act of adultery seems to be only a means to expose David's greater hidden sin (as mentioned in V1-9) rooted in his heart unconsciously perhaps. Am I understanding it correctly? Thank you and shalom Azure |
