Bible Question (short): Can anyone explain this verse? |
Question (full): Could anyone explain this verse, in its context, in more detail? I don't know why but it bothers me. As a youth I saw both my parents naked (on separate occasions, and totally by accident) and although I wouldn't describe the situations as pleasant (although they were quite humourous) I doubt either of my parents wished to lay a curse on me. Is there therefore a sexual connotation to this verse in this context or something similar? After all the 'offense' seems quite serious and the punishment quite severe. |
