Bible Question: unless i'm mistaken, only the creatures living in the oceans survived the flood - what "sin" was the creatures on the land and in the air, other than man, guilty of? not to question god, but were not the animals "innocent"? while their decendemts were sparred, THEIR lives were cut short - thanks! |
Bible Answer: My dear hic: Through many years of the study of Scripture I've learned a number of things about God, three of which I list here, believing that they are germane to the topic being considered: (1) God is absolutely sovereign; (2) He is transcendent; and (3) He is under no obligation whatever to account to human beings for the reasons underlying His actions nor to seek the approbation of man for them. .... "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts" (Isaiah 55:8,9). --Hank |
