Bible Note: I totally agree with you. I don’t believe that God intends for any of His creatures to be abused or neglected. I think that one of the ugly results of sin is that both man and beast suffer needlessly. All of the suffering on Earth ultimately comes back to man’s sin. I think that it is a lesson for us that sin causes suffering. The suffering of men, women and children, as well as animals should also help to keep us longing and looking for the day when “…the wolf will dwell with the lamb, and the leopard will lie down with the young goat, and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little boy will lead them.” Isaiah 11:6 Ocelot |
