AMPLIFIED 2015 | Genesis 6:7 So the LORD said, "I will destroy (annihilate) mankind whom I have created from the surface of the earth--not only man, but the animals and the crawling things and the birds of the air--because it [deeply] grieves Me [to see mankind's sin] and I regret that I have made them." |
Bible Question (short): Gen 6:7 and Num 23:19 contradicting? |
Question (full): Is there a contradiction between this verse (Genesis 6:7) and Numbers 23:19? Numbers 23:19 states (NASB), 'God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent; Has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?' |
