AMPLIFIED 2015 | Genesis 6:4 There were Nephilim (men of stature, notorious men) on the earth in those days--and also afterward--when the sons of God lived with the daughters of men, and they gave birth to their children. These were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown (great reputation, fame). [Num 13:33] |
Subject: Who were the "sons of God" in Gen 6:4? |
Bible Note: I am not sure why you responded under my note. The purpose of my note was to point out that Adam was called the son of God and that this adds to the idea that the "sons of god" in Gen 6 is the camp of Adam and the daughters of men are of Cains camp. Jesus being called the son of God is different altogether. He was equal with God. |
