Bible Question:
In Gen. 6:3, the Lord said that the days of man would be 120 years. So, my question is: Does the 120 pertains to the life of man before the flood or after? Because in Gen. 5:32 it says that Noah was 500 years old when he had his sons and in chapter 7:11 it states that Noah was 600 years old when he entered the ark. |
Bible Answer: It was fulfilled in Adam, and gave him 120 more years to live before being cut off. This word was given to Adam when he was 810 years old The meaning is, "for that he (Adam) is also flesh (as all other men are): yet his (Adam's) days shall be an hundred and twenty years" (Genesis 6:3)....
