Bible Question: what does sons of God refer to. |
Bible Answer: Dear Shane, there are two views; one is that they were angels. The other view is that they were men. I tend to agree with the second view because when the Pharisees asked Jesus about heaven and a hypothetical question about a women who had several husbands whose wife she would be in heaven. He said there was no marriage in heaven as there was in earth and we would be like the angels. This verse is what is called a difficult verse and since there is no cross reference to explain it we just leave it at that.
