Bible Question:
In Gen. ch.5:2 Why did God call male and female Adam? |
Bible Answer: Greetings Warriors For Christ! I agree, at first glance, Genesis 5:2 seems a little peculiar.. However, we know that the original creation of humanity is in two complementary genders, male and female, as Gen. 1:26-28 clearly states. In naming man, God declared His own dominion over all creation (Matt. 19:4; Mark 10:6). Also, the word "Man" is often used inclusively, referring to both genders in the early chapters of Genesis (ex. 3:22-24). The Gladiator For Christ, Nolan |
