Bible Question:
How has your life changed this year? As we pause to remembered those who died a year ago, - remember those who lost loved ones - those who escaped - those who were rescued - those who were saved as a result |
Bible Answer: Hey there Searcher, I had a relative who died in the World Trade Center last year.. I didn't know it until a month later, but we were finally informed of the tragic news. It felt a little eerie at our Family Reunion this year to know that one of the Keck's have been taken because of what happened, which was clearly the single worst disaster that has occurred on our nation's soil. My relative was simply going about her business as she would normally do on any given day, but things were so different that day, and we have all been shaken at one point or another. We have changed as a nation. I have changed. My family has changed, my perspective has changed, and the world's perspective has changed. Very few things in this nation's history have had such an impact on the world that 9/11 has had, and it is a tragic shame that it took this tragedy for us as a nation to realize that we still needed God. Blessings to you, Makarios |
