Bible Note: When we accept the Bible as the inspired word of God then Hebrews 11:4 is not just Paul's intrepretation but rather God's inspiration. I do not know anything about John Gill but I do know that there are many Godly Christian who share their understanding of God's word and that can be an aid. I also believe that Bible study must always start with prayer - there is no greater guide to understanding than the Holy Spirit. |
