Subject: What is Mark of Cain? Where in the Bilbe |
Bible Note: fran1946 I am sorry if that seemed like a challenge but it was in fact a question. You said, "there wasn't a mark put on Cain He was cursed, but still God had a protective cover over him that no one would kill him." I then said "Then your saying either Genesis 4:15 isn't true or we shouldn't take it literally. I assume you your leaning toward not taking it literally. Then I ask you why not? What makes you think God was talking figuratively rather than literally here?" Let me restate my question, since Genesis 4:15 says God amrked Cain and you said God really didn't I was asking how to you came to the decision? One did you think the Genesis account was wrong? Or did you feel it was only talking figuratively and why? I view them as honest questions in light of what you said. EdB |
