Subject: why didn't God sentence Cain to death? |
Bible Note: thanks for your answer.was not asking God why? was asking the forum why? Quest Study Bible says God did not sentence Cain to death, so as to protect the sanctity if the family, because of the small number of people on earth, it would have been virtually impossible to announce capital punishment at this time. the family would have been badly fractured had it been called upon to act as a prosecutor, judge, jury, witness and executor all at the same time. |
