Bible Question:  Genesis 34:1-4 details the rape of Dinah, the daughter of Jacob and Leah, by Shechem. Shechem asked his father, "Get me this young girl for a wife."

How old was Dinah at the time? Could she have been as young as 10-11 years old?

Thanks, Hoth

Bible Answer:  Hi, Hoth...

Dinah, the daughter of Jacob and Leah, age is not given us in Scripture. Any age would be a matter of speculation. I was taught that she was 12. However, that figure would be no more definitive than any other.
