Bible Note: Hank: Those who lived before Television, and very ealy radio, have a special wisdom. I would say those who went through the depression years, know more what being dependant on the Lord, and "knowing Him". Many are those who can remember those who were out to "help" only to find they were tricked by the greed that satan is so good at inticing mankind with. This present time is full of people who felt so secure in their retirement nest eggs, who now have little or nothing. Everytine I have done a funeral or hear of someone in grief we can thank the Evil One! Your mother was wise and I would bet she spent more time in one day in the Word, then most do today in a month. Wisdonm is life, understanding, and keeps us on the path of of pleasing the Lord. justme |
