AMPLIFIED 2015 | Genesis 3:22 ¶ And the LORD God said, "Behold, the man has become like one of Us (Father, Son, Holy Spirit), knowing [how to distinguish between] good and evil; and now, he might stretch out his hand, and take from the tree of life as well, and eat [its fruit], and live [in this fallen, sinful condition] forever"-- |
Bible Question:
In Genesis 3.22 and 23 said: And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken." When Adam become sinner, become like God or like Satan and his angels ? Who is this voice talking with the first couple? Satan can lie, masking himself to looks like or speak like God? Adam and Eve was blind spiritual or not? |
Bible Answer: Gen 3:5 "For God knows that in the day you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil." Gen 3:22 Then the LORD God said, "Behold, the man has become like one of Us, knowing good and evil; and now, he might stretch out his hand, and take also from the tree of life, and eat, and live forever"-- Dear Ricardo, It wasn't becoming a sinner that made man like God. It was knowing good and evil that made man like God. In both verses it says "you will be like God, KNOWING GOOD AND EVIL." I hope this helps. And welcome to the StudyBible Forum! Peace, Lionstrong |
