AMPLIFIED 2015 | Genesis 3:21 The LORD God made tunics of [animal] skins for Adam and his wife and clothed them. |
Bible Question: So the LORD God ministered as a priest in the garden of Eden and sacrificed an animal (or animals) skinned them and then clothed Adam and Eve with their hides? |
Bible Answer: Never thought of it like that. It is not a bad thought actually. The first sacrifice for sin it, no doubt, must have been, slain as it were, without hands on this first altar made for man the skins, only a shadow of the blood that would cover man before the flood And who is this garden priest of Eden? none other than the Lamb slain predestined.
