AMPLIFIED 2015 | Genesis 3:17 Then to Adam the LORD God said, "Because you have listened [attentively] to the voice of your wife, and have eaten [fruit] from the tree about which I commanded you, saying, 'You shall not eat of it'; The ground is [now] under a curse because of you; In sorrow and toil you shall eat [the fruit] of it All the days of your life. |

Bible Note: If I might, I thought I might interject. I'm not exactly sure to what you're referring but you seem to be questioning some of the instances where God's official representatives meted out certain punishments for sinful activities. Surely you're not questioning God's judgment in commissioning these men as they made their judgments with complete and perfect justice since they had the Holy Spirit to guide them. This is just merely another chapter in God's long running series of handling these kinds of affairs in the same way he handled Uzzah, Nadab and Abihu, King Saul, King David, Jonah, Sodom and Gomorrah and on and on. The list is far too long. God hands out judgments as he sees fit as He created us and we are simply the created for His pleasure. Notice Jesus had that same ability and potential but He seemed to restrain Himself as He came to seek and save the lost. If you don't mind, I'd like to have you clarify yourself and make your question as posted much more plain. Please clarify. Blessings to you. Country Girl |
