Bible Question:  it is quite logical that some words from Genesis 3:14 is applied to the serpent, although, it is also quite logical that has some application to Satan...

I would like to know if there is any evidence in science that proves that the serpent had legs before, and what would be applied to the evolution was actually the hand of God on the matter...

I would like to get not only the answer, but also some references so as I could be able to "prove" what I am saying, instead of talking nonsense

Bible Answer:  Hello DUDUTJ,

There is nothing to indicate the serpent had legs prior to God cursing it.

"Some scoffers have raised the question of whether serpents had legs and feet before man sinned and were deprived of these as penalty. The biblical account does not imply this, nor are we to suppose that before man sinned serpents stood upright; rather the serpent's closeness to the ground is now made a penalty; thereby a new meaning and significance is attached to it."
