Bible Question (short): what is "pass the place of repentance" |
Question (full): In Hebrews12:17,(NKJV)it says that Esau was rejected, "for he found no place for repentance,"........I've also read that it is possible for a man to pass the "place of repentance", that is get to a place where the Holy Spirit will not draw him to repentance. Are there any other references to this in the Bible? And can someone shed more light on this? I don't think it is as simple as backsliding....but would appreciate more information about this subject. |
