Bible Question: Is it sound theology to read into "God will provide for Himself the lamb" a future look at Jesus ultimate sacrifice on the cross as "God actually being the sacrificial lamb?" I know that Jesus was God become man, I just wanted some assurance that reading this verse in this manner is correct. Thanks for the help. |
Bible Answer: Hi dilada, Genesis 22:14 says that the Lord will provide and "In the mount of the Lord it will be provided." So you see, the verse does not say that God will provide Himself but rather "God will provide for Himself the lamb." From the heart, Ray |
