Bible Question: Why didn't God create more than one couple at the beginning of time in order to procreate without the need for incestuous relations? |
Bible Answer: Gen 1:26 Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth." Gen 1:27 God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. I believe that God made man with woman inside because He wasn't trying to experiment on a certain species to see if one would do this or one would do that, He already knew what each creature was capable of and just made male and female, knowing that they would replenish the earth in time.. As A Matter of fact everytime God completed a certain task he said it was good and very good Gen 1:10 God called the dry land earth, and the gathering of the waters He called seas; and God saw that it was good. You must also remember that Incestuous relationship came with the fall of man. We probably will never know what God's original plan would have been because of the fall....just my thoughts....
