Bible Question:
IN GENESIS 6 THRU 9 WHAT DOES IT MEAN WHEN IT SAYS GOD SAID AND THE LORD SAID, WHY THE DIFFERENT. AND IN THE GENESIS IT REFERS THAT NOAH SENT OUT A BIRDS EVERY SEVEN DAYS, WHY THE NUMBER (SEVEN) |
Bible Answer: SUPERLOTTO, Using the Strongs Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible Gen.6:5, God here in the original Hebrew is #3068 renderering Yehovah, the self Existent or Eternal, Jehovah. In verse 6, it's the same meaning. But in verse 9, #430,it means Elohiym, gods in the ordinary sense, specifically used in the plural thus, especially with the article of the Supreme God. Also used for magistrates. Verse 11,12,13,21 it's the same as verse 9. In Gen. 7:1 Lord, is back to #3068, the meaning of Yehovah, the self Existent or Eternal, Jehovah. I hope this helps.
