Bible Question: Why did GOD make woman from the mans rib |
Bible Answer: Greetings! God doesn't tell us why He did this, but I suspect from this verse, God may have wanted man to recognize that the woman was part of him. Because she was formed from Adam's rib, woman is his missing part. Woman "completes" the man. Think also about the command of God in the next verse: "For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh." IMO, "one flesh" is quite significant. What might this suggest to us about God's view of homosexuality? Blessings, mommapbs |
