Bible Question: How is it that Lot was considered righteous before God when he was willing to give up his own virgin daughters to be raped? I believe this is a little far to extend hospitality... |
Bible Answer: Greetings jholler and welcome to the forum. I suppose the first thing to be considered, in order to answer your question, would be your rendition of what it means to be righteous since the Bible doesn’t make any mistakes. 2 Tim. 3:16 All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; There may be more to the question about Lot then what meet the eye. Bringing it a little closer to home or ,shall I say, more up to date, what in your estimation would cause a person to be considerer righteous by God now days; then we can get back to Lot? I hope you enjoy the forum, CDBJ |
