Bible Question: In numerous places in the Bible, it speaks of God providing a land flowing with milk and honey. Why have we as Christians fallen into believing that this meant that to drink milk from animal species meant solely for the young of that species and to eat honey meant to fuel bees for our purposes. Surely Genesis 1:29 which states clearly that God has provided us with every herb bearing seed that grows on the face of the earth and every tree which yields seed for our food. Why have be fallen into this beastly perversion of using milk from animals that is genetically meant for only the young of that species for our consumption. And why have he fallen into eating honey when it was meant for use by the bees solely? Human breast milk is meant for infants prior to their development of teeth to provide their immune systems with all that they need for survival and to nourish them when they are unable to do so themselves. I do know we are all subject to habitual actions and earthly lusts and earthly behaviors and temptations. But we are also a peculiar people that God has called out of this world for His own. We are NOT to pattern our lives after this world. Through revelation the Lord has been speaking to me about MILK. Why it is we have fallen into this and WHY we should get out of consuming it. Not only it is not meant for the human body, but it is essentially a form of bestiality. A perversion. Can any man or woman who is of God in here say that it is a normal thing to crawl under an animal and suckle its breast when its young are needing this for their growth and development? I believe that when the Lord mentions a "land flowing with milk and honey" HE was referring to a land of abundance. Any comments. |
Bible Answer: I believe our Lord doesn’t have a problem with us consuming milk from animals. If He did, He sure failed to let Abraham know while He had some with him. I’m sure the milk mentioned wasn’t from Sarah. Genesis 18 1And the LORD appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day; 2And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground, 3And said, My LORD, if now I have found favour in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant: 4Let a little water, I pray you, be fetched, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree: 5And I will fetch a morsel of bread, and comfort ye your hearts; after that ye shall pass on: for therefore are ye come to your servant. And they said, So do, as thou hast said. 6And Abraham hastened into the tent unto Sarah, and said, Make ready quickly three measures of fine meal, knead it, and make cakes upon the hearth. 7And Abraham ran unto the herd, and fetcht a calf tender and good, and gave it unto a young man; and he hasted to dress it. 8And he took butter, and milk, and the calf which he had dressed, and set it before them; and he stood by them under the tree, and they did eat.
