Bible Answer: Greetings Reece Vaughan, Is Genesis 10:25 referring to the events that happened at the Tower of Babel? Yes, I would agree that that was so. The name Peleg means "division." Taking a wider view of Genesis, the only Biblical event that is spoken of in Peleg's time would be the 'division,' or when the LORD confused the language of all of the people of the whole earth (11:8,9) who up to that time, all spoke the same language (11:1).
