Bible Question: Why did God create us in the first place? In Genesis, God has created everything but man on the 6th day, "And God saw that it was good." (Genesis 1:25). Why then, did he decide to create man when he knows we will fall away? Why create Heaven and Earth at all? What is his purpose? |
Bible Answer: Greetings Bacon_bits, After God created man, in Genesis 1:31, He saw all that He created, and "it was very good." Perhaps God did know that man would eventually sin. But His full purposes and designs are not known to man, and the only thing that man has to worry about is to "Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man." (Ecclesiastes 12:13) Blessings to you, Makarios |
