Bible Question:
Was everything really created in 7 days? |
Bible Answer: Everything was really created in six days. The bible says so several times: Gen. 1:1-2:3 Exo. 20:11 For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day; therefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day and made it holy. Exo. 31:17 "... for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, but on the seventh day He ceased from labor, and was refreshed." Heb. 4:4 And yet his work has been finished since the creation of the world. 4For somewhere he has spoken about the seventh day in these words: "And on the seventh day God rested from all his work." It breaks down this way: An omniscient God said He created the earth in six days, the same omnipotent God could have; He did. royfish |
