AMPLIFIED 2015 | Genesis 1:2 The earth was formless and void or a waste and emptiness, and darkness was upon the face of the deep [primeval ocean that covered the unformed earth]. The Spirit of God was moving (hovering, brooding) over the face of the waters. |
Bible Question: Yes, it was an excellent answer. I wonder if either of you would care to address the 7th day? You've probably noticed that all creation days include "And there was evening, and there was morning" Not so for day seven. There was no mention of it all. |
Bible Answer: Why is there no "And there was evening, and there was morning" for the seventh day? As Scribe, and others have said, it could be we are in the seventh day. But, Gen 2:2 said He rested from His work. Does that mean He is no longer working? Or does it mean He is doing some other type of work? I think the latter. |
