Bible Question (short): Jesus' brothers real motives? |
Question (full): In John 7:3-5 Jesus' brothers tell him he ought to go to Judea, so that his disciples may see the miracles he did, and also the world, as if he had not already been doing those things. I know it says that his bothers didn't believe in him, but it seems evident they knew of all the miracles he had performed and were surely aware of the fact he was staying away from Judea because the Jews there were waiting to take his life. Do you think they were testing him to somehow force him to prove to them in a greater way his deity? Thank you for your comments, Tom |
