Bible Question (short): Titus 1:10-12 |
Question (full): When Paul wrote his letter to Titus, he spoke about some judaizing christians in a negative sense (cf. Titus 1:10 and 11) And when he was finished in this two verses he concluded by saying: "One of them, a prophet of their own, said, "Cretans are always liars, evil beasts, lazy gluttons.""(Titus 1:12 NKJV) My question is: "If this cited prophet spoke about the geral natural of CRETANS, why did Paul apply this to christian JUDAIZING, or christians who were Jews?" |
